Has any movie touched your life that you keep on coming back to it? Are the characters equally unforgettable? If this is the case, you can try to remember the male names and consider them for your baby son.
Appeal of male names based on movie characters
Male names, especially those of the protagonists, can represent the virtues shown by those movie characters. Unlike the names of movie stars, movie characters’ names are safer. You have seen the ending of the movie so you know how the character’s personality was developed. In the case of movie stars, their personality can still change for the worse. You do not want to associate your baby to someone who will possibly commit an unforgivable act in the future. Still, your baby boy can still have a taste of having a popular and trendy name.
Popular male names based on movie characters
Would you believe that parents are steering towards sci-fi movie characters’ names? Some of the popular male names from the world of sci-fi include Neo. Some are into vamps’ names such as Edward (Cullen) and Damon (Salvatore).
Choose male names from movies that reflect a virtue that you uphold. Make sure your baby knows the meaning of his name. Hopefully, he lives up to it.

If you are looking up names for your future baby son, you may want to consider celebrity names. While it is good to check out traditional baby books and use names that have been passed on from generation to generation, celebrity names for baby boys may do the trick.
Appeal of celebrity names for baby boys
Do you want your son to have a unique but tested name? Celebrity names are unique because actors are going for uncommon or even never-been-used names for their babies. They are tested because they have been given automatic and certified appeal because somebody famous has used them. Think of Ashlee Simpson’s little Bronx or the Beckham’s brood: Romeo, Cruz, and Brooklyn.
Choosing a celebrity name for your boy
Would you give your baby boy a celebrity name? Your baby will sure be associated with somebody famous. The name will be appealing and trendy. Still, pick one that will not make him the butt of jokes when he grows up.
Celebrity names may be trendy but if the celebrity namesake goes the wayward path, your baby boy may be associated with notoriety.

My beautiful mother said she wants me to have a successful life someday. That is her only dream for me; she keeps on telling me that. She also said that if she had a choice, she wanted me to become powerful. So she told me that she wanted the name Adolf, the most powerful leader in world history, for me. But, my father disagreed for he is pro-Jews and he hated the name. That's why they just named me Aaron (the great).
Once upon a time, an innocent baby, who was to conquer the globe, was born in Austria, Germany. That day was 20th of April 1889. His parents, Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl, had no vision what their son would become. The two only cared about their affair. Klara was Alois' second cousin and his third wife. Young Adolf carried his mother's maiden name until one circumstance changed it into Hitler. Then, the great conquering began. He died on the 30th of April 1945.
I have watched Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg, and the film was really heart-warming. I couldn't do anything but feel pity for the Jews who were showered with gas, imprisoned in gas chambers, and forced to parade naked. Watching the movie made me realize that this Nazi is a cold blooded party. Okay, enough of this drama. Let's go to Spielberg. He's the best director I've ever known. I always want to do movies like his. I wish I could have lived during the holocaust so that I could have recorded the event live. That way, I could have been the main source of Spielberg's film.

This girl was so pretty and popular. Well, her name was Ryanne. But I code-named her as Rain because she was like the rain to me. She gave me shivers when she passed by. And like rain, she was also cold to me.
Saturday, May 12. 2007
If your name is Ryan, then you must be living in Australia, England, Canada, Ireland, or Scotland. You might also be living just about anywhere because Ryan's undeniably a popular first name. It's also popular as a girl name or as a surname. Take for instance Meg Ryan. You can choose Ryan if you also want to be popular. People, whose name is Ryan, are lively and outgoing. Perhaps this is because of its royal meaning.

Francis Ball came from the land of England all the way to Massachusettes in the year 1639. In 1643, Allen Ball was in Connecticut. You may ask what those things are all about. Surnames are important for every lineage's identity, that is, for history. But, for the government a surname is important because it helps in organizing the people of a country. Some people are curious why women are required to use male surnames. Well, this is how the world goes. We all have to deal with it. On the other hand, I'm not really sure how our ancestors chose our corresponding surname, and it would be interesting to discover it. Meanwhile, I still have to research on that.

We all know that the persona of Jacob was more Godly and studious than Esau because Esau was more of a sinner icon. Many moms like to name their first born son as Jacob. The common reason of mothers is they want their son to adapt Jacob's personality. This name is biblical and many parents get names from the Bible for their son to grow up as a good child.
Monday, May 7. 2007
Jacob is of Hebrew origin, "Yaʿaqov," that means "heel". Do you know why? Because when Rebeccah was giving birth, Jacob was holding the heel of Esau. The two are twins born to Issac and Rebeccah. Jacob was more successful than Esau since the latter was drowned in cardinal sins like murder, idolatry, and adultery. On the other hand, Jacob's children divided Israel into 12 tribes. Because of Jacob's roots in Israel, we all expect the entire land, as a Holy land, to be the center of piece on Earth, don't we?
Sunday, May 6. 2007
Jacob came from Isaac, son of Abraham. This holy family reigned in Israel for many years. Aside from that, there are many propehecies about Israel that make us believe it's a sacred place. However, current situations don't say the same thing. In the recent bombing of Israel on Lebanon, it has killed several children. These people, Israeli, are said to be the descendants of Jacob who was tasked to spread peace on Earth. But, what happened to most of the Lebanese children now? Cold and dead.

Do you believe in God? There are some believers of God who don't believe in saints. These are other religions that believe in God but don't believe in saints. I won't mention them anymore out of respect. Anyway, if you're a Roman Catholic, I'm sure you believe in saints. In fact, most probably, your mother has a patron saint. Who's your patron saint?
Friday, May 4. 2007
Jude is a variant name for Judas (not that traitor of Jesus, if you're thinking of him). And, Judas comes from the Hebrew name, Yehudah, which means "praised." Judah is among the Jacob's 12 sons. The tribe that led the Exodus or the escape of people from Egypt comes from the tribe of Judah (Old Testament). Among the descendents of Judah are Jesus and King David. Jude is also the name of one martyr, St. Jude Thaddeus, who annointed Christ after His death.
Thursday, May 3. 2007
St. Jude Thaddeus has been my patron saint since college. He's the patron saint of the hopeless with regards to money, study, love life, and other dreams. I've already proven St. Jude Thaddeus' miracle when he granted my three wishes. These are: passing my Mathematics subject in college (what can I do? I'm not good at numbers!), filling up my piggy bank to overflowing, and meeting someone with whom I would like to spend the rest of my life.

Nowadays, Hollywood has an overwhelming pool of actors and actresses. Although most of them are Americans, there are also foreign talents that have penetrated Hollywood over the years. Some of these foreign actors and actresses are praised for consistently superb performances. For instance, we have the talented Nicole Kidman and Academy award-winning actor Russel Crowe. Don't forget Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackson. These are Australians who have survived Hollywood and who continue to live up to everyone's expectations. However, let's admit it: there are actors and actresses who are plain gorgeous but lacks the depth and sensitivity to be an actor.
Tuesday, May 1. 2007
Actors and actresses have their own ways to attack a certain role. They have to dig for that talent to come up with a great performance. There are those who go overboard and there are those who are effortless. Among the actors that I have watched, I have never seen anyone as natural and as versatile as Johnny Depp. Imagine, he can go comedy as what he did in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and he can also do action scenes just like in Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
Monday, April 30. 2007
We all know how versatile Johnny Depp is. Today, a new name has been associated with him. It is the name of a pirate that most us are familiar with, and that name is Captain Jack Sparrow. Nowadays, Johnny Depp and Captain Jack Sparrow are identical. When I saw the two "Pirates" films, I cannot imagine another actor who could portray the role any better. The role simply fits him. In fact, the director said in an interview that he allowed Johnny to make his own interpretation of the role. It came out great.

Our new neighbor, Emilio, is a Spanish-American and a music teacher. My kids love him because he teaches them piano lessons for free. My dad likes him because he gives him rolls of tobacco for free. Emilio has a long, crooked nose, wrinkled face, and soft blue eyes. The kids consider him as their grandpa, and parents like me look up to him as our second father. If I'm not mistaken, his family is staying in Spain for good, but he still visits them during holidays.
Saturday, April 28. 2007
Emilio is derived from another Portuguese and Spanish name which is Emil. It is actually Aemilius or aemilus in Latin that means "rival". There are so many Emilios in the world that gave significant contributions to history, arts, science, and fashion.
